My daughter is going back to school. And it's her first day there and I want to give the teachers a good first impression. The school uniform is khaki colored pants with white or green t-shirt. What should she wear? Something cute but also intelligent looking and trendy.

you should have her wear the school uniform but if the dress code isn't specific you should modify it to her personality like maybe adding some green sequins to the pockets on her khaki pants you know run with it but don't break any of the rules that will just make your daughter an outcast and possibly make you appear irresponsible.

Well,allow her to pick out something she is comfortable in.If she has to wear the uniform i would suggest she wear it so she didnt get into any form of trouble or get punished for not following the rules.If she is allowed to wear accessories of her choice allow her to choose them.Allow her to wear what she is comfortable in and what she feels confident in.If she feels comfortable and confident in what she is wearing that will show through on the outside.Allow her to choose if she is allowed to ,of course i understand that you want to make a good impression but her showing up and being active in the class will make a good impression.Dont force her to wear something you want her to wear,allow her to express herself and wear what she wants to wear and is comfortable in that also is following the guidelines and rules required and expected by the school.Good luck.

Not a whole lot of choices is there?The teachers actually don't care about the clothes as long as the kids show respect.

As long as she has clean ears, fresh breath and short clean fingernails you'll be fine. Iron her clothes if you like but the first 3 suggestions are really important
