Thanks for your question.
My money would be on the Padres as the three contenders the Padres, Dodgers and San Francisco Giants all play more games away and the Padres have the best record away this season.
According to the Arizona Republic:
"The Dodgers are an anemic 29-36 on the road, where they'll play 16 of their final 27. Disadvantage Dodgers.
San Diego has struggled at home all year, but has gone 35-29 on the road. Seventeen of the Padres' final 27 will be on the road, including a season-ending, seven-game trip to St. Louis and Arizona. Big advantage Padres.
The Giants are as bad as the Dodgers away from home. They are 29-38 on the road after Saturday's win with 14 of their last 26 games in visiting parks. Big disadvantage Giants."
We shall have to wait and see how it plays out but the Padres look the best bet for mine.

The Dodgers will take it.
Yes the Dodgers do play the padres 4 more games this season & yes the padres have won against the Dodgers, but take into consideration, the Dodgers do play a lot better @ home (44-27)as opposed to the road (29-38) & those 4 games against the padres will be @ Dodgers Stadium. the padres on the road are 35-29. u tell me which one is better 44-27 or 35-29?!

Dodgers, 10 of the last road games of the season will not be against NL west opponents and the the last three games against San Diego will be at Dodger Stadium.

Even though I'm a SF Giants fan, I would have to say that the Dodgers will win the division. The Giants will enter the postseason via winning the wild card race, but am unsure where they will end up.

As much as it pains me to say it will most likely be the Dodgers as the padres have shown they can fall apart in tough situations.

padres. they always beat the dodgers and they have a few games left to play against the dodgers. it'll be close. but both teams might make the playoffs if the dodgers win the wild card.
