first, love and be confident of yourself. to have more topics to talk with others , read... current affairs / fashion /cars.. anything that keeps you updated so that you can join in or start a conversation without much problem.... Start a hobby and you can create a portfolio for yourself , so that you have something to say when describing or intro-ing yourself .... Also , be senstitive while talking to others. Dun cross over to their privacy.

It would help if you smile at people and say hello. Go to places where people have the same interests you do and start conversations about your shared interest.If you're a likable person I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to make friends.

Just be open in front of them Tell them your hobbies but beware of telling them any bad things that may harm your image. Ask their fave things and rise above their expectations or simply tie them a friendship band.
These all will do as they are practised by me the 13 yr old schoolgirl.
And remember that schooling children never go wrong. I am experienced!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
