It is nice to click it on and see the latest news but if you will notice it is the same news over and over and over. Every time I turn on any of the 24 hour new channels all I see is steve irwen and before that was the nut case that said he raped and killed that little girl and before that it was Israel and lebanon and before that how many was killed in Iraq today. They go on and on about it for weeks. I really get tired of it myself.

I do think it has better reporting but only because there are so many reporting and each gets a little more of the story. However, they now beat the poor dead horse for days after it died.

Just a little too much on the reruns.

You get a lot of repeat or overly extended coverage. I don't like it when you have an interesting guest speaking and you stop him/her for some for some "ho-hum Breaking News". I like the fact that I can get current news 24/7 - but coverage could be better. Why did I need to see repeated scenes of the LA Airport hours before the suspect of Jon Benet killing arrive ? BORING.

I wouldnt call it better coverage.Coz all the channels care abotu is competition.I mean very recently almost 4 channels had exclusive intervws of Sourav Ganguly just becoz he had been excluded from the Champions Trophy squad.Channels dont believ in meaningful reporting nowadays. They keep on saying the same thing and try to get more breaking news stories
