(MY OPINION)...The war was pointless, a waste of life, a waste of money, and non-of-our-business. How does going to war help us?? Why is America Policing everyone?? Instead of trying to get the youth in the Military, why want we spend 80 billion putting them in school?? We are just making Enemy after Enemy. What's the point? the more we keep butting in, the more opposition we are goning to have. Soldiers are dying because of America's Greed for oil and Diplomatic power.

I know some will disagree with me (ALOT!!! and be immature with you-are-dumb-asss-speech and Unpatriotic). But whats your opinion?? Give it to me straight, Im young...Maybe i got a lot of things wrong here!!! (Oh yeah, they said the combat is over, BUT is it really, i havent heard much about it lately)

I agree! And it drives me nuts how supporters will call everyone who is against the war unpatriotic. It is their fall back because they can't give any logical reasons on why we are wasting so much money fight a war noone wants rather than investing it into things that might HELP our country. (EDUCATION, HEALTH CARE, FEEDING THE POOR, SOCIAL SECURITY, and the list goes on!)

When the war in Afghanistan began we had a clear cut objective, taking out Bin Laden and his group. When we First went into Iraq it was a war based on blind faith, paranoia, and inaccurate Intel. I completely agree with us going into Afghanistan, however I disagree with Iraq.

The Iraq war has hit me very hard due to the loss of a very good friend who was serving there as well as also having family stationed in country as well.

Iraq was a war that could have been prevented quite easily if we could have gotten Saddam to stop posturing and acting like a big shot. It would have been avoided also if our president would have avoided jumping the proverbial gun on the invasion. If both would have simply allowed the U.N inspectors to return for one last full on no restrictions inspection....well I sincerely hope that the war could have been avoided.

Granted I will admit that Saddam was a horrific oppressor who's atrocities were well known long before Bush became president and he did deserve to be taken down.

By the way, I may disagree with the current war. But I WILL NEVER say anything that goes against our soldiers.

So helping oppressed people is now a waste of money and time? What if Abraham Lincoln felt the same way? What if he didn't have compassion for those who were enslaved? What if he said that the war was too expensive, and the reconstruction of the South was too vast...This country would not have become the great nation it is today without leaders who are willing to step up to the plate and say, "No. You cannot behave in this manner. It is morally wrong."

You keep thinking for yourself. If more openly questioned and made dumbass immature speeches like that we might actually do more about real homeland security. To damn many kids dieing at home to send them to some country that doesn't seem to want us there. So bring our people home and give them back the genocidal bastard and take there ******* oil and forget them.Let Allah sort-em out after they all kill each other. Then get busy with the real homeland security. If you want to live here and enjoy the same rights and privileges as those of us here. Then pledge loyalty to the flag, the nation, and the American way of life and in doing so learn to speak our language you came here to live you learn and adapt the ways here. Cause the way myself and alot more Americans feel,You came here You dont like it cause we dont do the way You did whereever You came from.Shutup get on whatever leakyass boat or trickle of the rio grande you came across and GO BACK WHERE YOU CAME FROM WE DONT NEED YOU!

Well, I personally don't want myself, my children or grandchildren to live under an Islamic government. We have to stop these terrorists and we had to start somewhere!!!! Do a search on the net and Check out what these facists radicles did to Women and Children in Afghanistan. Would you want to live in a country like Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq or Afgahnistan? Do a search and you'll see what I mean.
