dont know

we feed them frozen blood worms and frozen brine shrimp thawed out with warm water and fed with a turkey baster. they are blind and know as filter feeders, they dont activly go searching for food, when they smel food they start sucking in water and filter out the bits of food so to get them to eat you have to move very slowly so as not to scare them away put the food right in front of them. i would recomend doing this in the evening as they are primarily nocturnal

they may eat dead fish and some times even live if they cant find/catch them, but i would not recomend keeping live golds in the tank. golds produce alot of ammonioa and dragons are relitivly delicate fish

average life span is hard to tell because of them being so delicate. they can get up to 20 inches with a bit of luck and enough space.

if they were bred in a larger tank they will have grown faster as fry than those bred in a smaller tank so length is not a reliable determining factor in age

try housing with low key semi agressive fish that dont go crazy at feeding time
