we couldn't.
Civilization relies on numbers and math.

We would have to create (new) symbols that were numbers, even if we called them something else.

Bridges just can't be built without numbers and math.

We would make perfect pictures in three dimensions of things that we want to have. We would barter for things with roughly equivalent other things. We would learn to estimate in terms of vague quantities like a bushel full or vat of that.
