The probability is high given the number of planets available in the whole universe, there will be others similar to planet Earth. Also, the life we know is carbon based life forms, but there could be other possibilities that we may not have discovered yet.

For example, even on the Earth, there is a debate as to whether a virus is considered life or not, since it needs a host to survive. There could be more mysteries out there in space waiting to be discovered.

In our solar system, there has been no solid proof of other life forms on any planetary body, so far.

But given the facts of all possibilities and the sheer number of other extrasolar systems that have been found. The argument can be presented, that odds are there some form of life besides our own exists in this universe. Then the argument goes further that life may exist, but lacks intelligence. To even further possibilities that a small number should harbor some form of intelligent life.
Another argument is that there has been life out there and intelligent enough to travel within space, but has long disappeared due to destruction of the parent star and planet due to age. We are talking billions of years and billions of stars. Mathematically it is possible. But tangible proof has not been found to support the math.

The galaxy is teeming with life and we assume that the rest of the universe is also. It is sad that your species will not survive long enough to meet them. Over the centuries, your planet was a curious place to visit once or twice and was not considered very interesting . Sure, your wars showed us how undeveloped you are as a species and your infantile,(in cosmic terms) dependence on god concepts does not bode well for you. We are now showing an interest in you because it is not often that we get to observe a species commit suicide. You are so close to maturing as a sentient species and it will be a shame to see you kill yourselves. There are just not enough of you becoming rational enough to force the issue. You let the least among you determine your fate, so be it.

Yes, there is life on other planets. The universe is so large with so many possibilities of life that it would be inconceivable for life not to have developed somewhere else besides Earth.

Yes, there is life on other planets. There is microscopic life on planets such as Mars.

Is there any "intelligent" lifeforms on planets? Maybe, but we don't know for certain.
