Most likely over money. One rumor is that all four cast members were asked to take a pay cut, another is that all four were going to pull a "Friends" and band together to ask for a raise....but the merging of the WB and UPN meant some nailbiting nights as to whether the show was going to come back AT ALL, so Jill Marie Jones decided it was time to pursue other opportunities regardless of whether or not the show was renewed.
I wish her well (you can see her in the Bacardi ads running right now) but I don't know how they can replace Toni Childs-Garrett!!!!
