When you are sick during pregnancy it is very common to gain very litle weight, BUT.... Be careful that you are eating healthy when you do eat.and try eating 5 to 8 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones, this actually helps your stomach, and it provides you more constant nouridhment throughout your day, the baby will take what it needs from you but if all your eating is crap it will take all the good stuff from you making you feel bad and possibly hurting your baby when it needs more of a certain vitamin or mineral. I was anemic (low iron) after my 3rd baby becase he had sucked my supply dry, and I had alot of bloodloss, just try to balance it all out and remember that your baby truly is what you eat! Good luck on a healthy baby!

Sounds like you are doing fine :)
My wife initially lost weight with both of our children, also. With the firstborn, she actually wound up about 3 lbs under her beginning weight, just before birth. Baby was almost 9 pounds and 2 feet long, at birth, lol. The second childbirth was about the same as the first, but my wife gained all the weight back before birth. This baby was also over 8 pounds and almost 2 ft long, hehehehe. They are both teens now.. and yep, tall for their age, lol
Glad to hear your morning sickness is over, and wish you well with the remainder of the pregnancy.
Best Wishes!

My friend lost around 20 lbs after she got pregnant.. it's normal, as long as all your checkups have been normal don't worry about it. She wound up have a 7lb 10 oz baby boy, completely healthy. Your body will gain weight when it needs to... Don't force yourself to eat because you think you're not gaining enough, and talk to your Dr. if your unsure about anything..

As long as the baby is growing losing some weight will not hurt them. I actually lost 6 pound when I first found out I was pregnant because I cut out all junk food and added more fruits and veggies to my diet. I still ate 3 meals and snacks and drank at least 8 glasses of water daily...10 when it was super hot out.

My mom worried about the exact same thing with me. She was 150 when she got preg and 135 when she had me. I was born very healthy and I have only gotten sick about 8 times my whole life and only 3 times it was bad enough to go to the doctor (and that was only because i broke a bone being superwoman or something equaly as dumb) Don't worry too much but make sure you tell your doc about you concerns.

i had a friend who also lost weight at the beginning of her pregnancy. she also happens to be 20. she really didn't gain any weight at all until her last trimester. i think she gained about fifteen pounds by the end of her pregnancy and gave birth to a healthy eight pound baby girl.

as long as you're getting prenatal care and take your prenatal pills, I'm sure it'll be fine. I was a 105 until i was 6 months...then i gained like 20 something lbs. hehehe you still have a lot of ways to go.
