he still has lead in his pencil. Thats the good news. the bad news is -yes it is disrespectful if he does this and gets caught.we men are not too subtle about this whereas women can check a guy out in about 1 second. he should be more covert about this. Understanding human nature, you wont be able to stop this behavior., but you can have fun as well. when he does this then you do it right back and see what his reaction is. wait until a young guy walks by and then go 'mmm mmm what a butt." then if hubby gets a little irritated you can say ' Oh I'm sorry dear, I thought we came to check out the younger flesh. I couldnt help but notice that you are doing it is there a problem? also keep in mind the male ego. He may be thinking of his virile years and remembering what it was like. you also may do the same thing. if this is the case then my advice is take his a** home and show him how hot and sexy you can be.

If you have 3 children (or more) before you are done with high school, that's not abuse. It's irresponsibility on both parts, but not abuse.
And the term "generalization" doesn't even cover this one. You've lumped all teens into a single group (those who abuse women) without leaving the possibility for other. In my experience, most normal young men are respectful to their girlfriends.

What the goddamn happened to personal responsability?!
If you are hanging out with boys who smack around girls then it is probally in your best interest to find new guy freinds. And where do you live that the boys you know have 1 or more children in high school.... I also think that you are being TOO general.... not everyone (hell not even most people) fit into one catagory...
and i love the party line that it is "society's fault". Take responsability for your actions and those of your kids.

Sweetie, I don't know who you are hanging out with, but it is the wrong crowd. Most teenage boys are not abusive. I say, separate yourself from these boys and find the good ones.

I would say it's due to combination of "factors"....namely;
MTV and hip-hop/rap music
Some video games
No "firm hand" at home to clap them upside the head when they are disrespectful to ANYONE...or wash their mouths with soap when they say things like "ok b*tch" or whatever it is......
We recently heard/saw some of what is IN new video games and guess what.....the boys don't HAVE them anymore! We have done our best to instill in them that EVERYONE deserves respect until they prove that they dont deserve it.

They don't know any better!
Look at the music they listen to--rap is nothing but disrespect to girls. and movies aren't much better---glad my generation treated girls like young ladies-instead of tramps like today
