It seems pretty boring and crappy to me. I'm 23 and my little sisters are all into it. I'm sure there are tons of adults into it too. And I missing something? What's the big deal with myspace? And when did it get so big?

MySpace was developed by a group dedicated for the supporting of bands in the Online world. They also hired people to advertise for them, paying them by referrals and whatnots. They worked well apparently.

MySpace is just like any other blogging system with just a few additions.

The site has poor design, awful coloration, bad navigation, but is widely popular because of the people using it. It's just a fad and has been going down in popularity and will continue doing so.

Myspace is nothing worthwhile. Don't waste your time unless you are asocial and can't make friends. Well as more and more people began visiting the site. The business for advertising on the site became huge. Now large corporations have discovered a large target audience there. Which is why New Corp bought it for 580 million.
Bottom line: Skip it. Do not give in to the craze.

I am 27 and I do have to admit that there really isn't much to do there. I am just there to keep in touch with old friends. I enjoy seeing how every1 looks now since we are older and most of us have moved away from our hometown. I am also a gamer so I have now started playing games on the site.

I have one too, and it is really useful especially since I am going to another state for college, to keep in touch with friends back home and connecting with people that I meet here on campus. And you just sort of get addicted to it because you are always checking whether your friends wrote messages to you. It's pretty fun.

I love being able to have this group like atmosphere with friends I haven't seen in 10 years. I love it, I find people from my childhood all the time!
