Who will police the world in such an event?

The universe as we know it will cease to exsist! Murder, Rape, Chaos, Dogs and Cats living together, Mass Hysteria!!

I'm not sure what you mean by "collapse" but if you mean that the USA will cease to exist, well, they will be partying all night long in the Middle East. And Israel will be very, very nervous. Europe would most likely emerge as the dominant superpower. And life will go on without the biggest consumer of the Earth's resources. There are so many bright, intelligent people in the USA, it would be a shameful loss that cannot be replaced. That would truly be a travesty, and the world will be much poorer for it.

It would rejoice and I do not mean just the Middle East. America thinks it is the world as it is so arrogant. My only concern is what would it do with its population assuming its survives. We have enough foreigners in this country without having to put up with self opinionated mouthy americans. The downside is that Israel may be obliterated. However if Europe remained strong and united it might be saved.Just think no more fake concerns for the human race and no unjust invasions of other sovereign states.

Collapse? We would sell ourselves out (Kind of like were doing now) before we let our country collapse. I believe one day down the road we will no longer be the superpower we are today mainly because of our dependency on irreplacable fuel sources. Nato and interpol will continue to police the world as they have for years.

It is called global economic collapse. Many people saying China but that isn't completly correct. We are one of the largest markets in the world. If our economy goes to crap then there goes Japan (heavily tied into us economically). Oh, and we provide theirs and Taiwans military along with a lot of Europes. They have to pump cash into a national defense so there goes a lot of social programs. China needs us to buy their goods and us to provide some of theirs. They may survive. India may very well be toast because they are still developing through American companies. No American economy mean no companies which means no jobs for them (at least no more out sourcing of jobs). In other words, it will never happen, too many people need us to stay as we are.

if the united states goes down then some other super power say china will take over do u want chins telling u what to do. but i think the united states wont go down with out a fight we have thousands of nukes if a whole bunch of hostle nations tried to take us down well we can wipe most of them out and still have some left over for others. the only countrys u really have to worry about is china russia india korea any nation that has huge stock piles of nukes. they are the bigist threats

Its known that any ruling power in the world soon ends,,,and thats natural but if america collapses ...i hope they stay fine:) the wolrd can take care of itself and so does Usa ....do you think America is policing the world now???i think its total miss now ...so it wont effect ....but i think it will stay as one of the strongest countries ....maybe some other country will police the world and rule it their way ...no one knows ...but i dont think anyone should rule the world ...everyone rule theirself and we will all be fine....i wish Usa can use its strength for good and police the world and protect weaks.(in usa or out) ....and spread peace ...but Usa is not ruled by people its ruled by certain policy so it wont do anygood...policing the world...i dont think they are now....lets just hope :)

NATO? I think the world would function as it is just without America and the next strongest country would have to replace and provide like America has to keep some countries alives.
