I ended up going to a junior college, meaning no dorms. so for now i'm still living with my parents. I heard that dorm life is a great experience, since your surrounded by people you age but in a closer sense. And i feel bumped out that i'm missing that in my first 2 yrs of college. I know that i'll be living in a 4 yr with dorms later after jr college, but i hear its not like the first few yrs. What do you guys/girls think?

Definetely a great experience! you get to know a lot more people and learn how to become more independent. It's great, you should try it once you transfer to a 4 yr college. The only bad thing is that you might not have enough privacy since you'll share a room w/ one or two more people.

You may not believe me, but you'll probably benefit from the experience more by waiting until your Junior year.

Yes. Great way to meet new people.

Of course. Everybody needs to be exposed to piles and piles of dirty socks and underwear, hundreds of erect penises, and barrels and barrels of beer in order to have a truly wonderful college "experience".
