It is clearly Australia in both forms of the game. I think they slipped a bit from the team of 2001-02 when Steve Waugh retired, but overall, in both forms of the game Australia are still world champions, and hold the last two world cups. The only area of cricket Australia don't have the best is an all-rounder, they don't have a decent one. But strongest batting line up, strongest bowling attack, best fielding and best wicket-keeper.

G'day Deco,
Thanks for your question.
Australia are the top ranked nation in test cricket and one day internationals. They have also won the past two world cups.
In test matches, they have a ranking of 130 as opposed to 119 for England. In one day internationals, Australia has a ranking of 131 as opposed to 123 for Pakistan.
I attach sources for your reference.
Regards
