Man now dead, I believe his house is a tourist attraction, large rocks bigger than a man can lift positioned perfectly so that they spin when pushed by a child, he supposedly worked at night so no one could see his how he was able to do all this.

That would be Latvian Edward Leedskalnin. He's best known for building the Coral Castle in Homestead, Florida, in what's a bit of a sad tale, as I recall it. The most fascinating bit I think is that he claimed to know the secrets of Egyptian builders, but never divulged the secret to anyone else. I'll pop in some links below if you want to read more.

It's still there - we visited it a couple of years ago. I annoyed the crap out of my wife by imitating Leonard Nimoy in the "In Search Of" episode that they did on the Coral Castle
