My house has aluminum siding on the gables. It appears the aluminum has oxidized and covered some of the brick below this gable. I have tried Miratic Acid, Oven Cleaner, and an assortment of other cleaners but no luck, not even a little is removed. The aluminum siding is white and it appears that when it rained, something from the siding ran onto the brick.

you might have to melt it out with a torch. if you do not have one you can find them at wall mart, k mart, home depot or osh or any store like that. under 20.00 dollars.

Please DO NOT put a torch on your brick! If you get it hot enough it will explode!!!! Unless it is fire brick it will explode and cause you some major damage. It could even put your eye out.

I would try High pressure washing. 2500 psi - 3000 psi (true high pressure). Do not hold in one spot very long with high pressure or it will cut your brick. Be sure to wear safety glasses.

Hope this helps :)
