Anime, and manga specific question. I've asked this, and never had it answered before. Why do guys and sometimes girls (Furi Kuri) get nose bleeds when they see something that excites them sexually? This is one of the only remaining mysterys left in my otaku-isum.

In anime and manga (Japanese-originating animation style), it is very common to see sexually/romantically-aroused characters suffering nosebleeds, sometimes intense ones. This rarely occurs in real life, but is based on a Japanese "old wives' tale", which states that becoming sexually excited can cause nosebleeds. Such occurrences are generally played for laughs and signify "loserhood" and/or virginity. This conception regarding nosebleeds also exists in Chinese culture.

Maybe these kind of things increase the rush of blood to the brain.. Maybe too much blood flowing cause a vessel to pop

hmm i been wondering that too but i think cause the person is shy when something sexualy happen there shocks and just bleed i think
