Lately I've been looking through yahoo questions and a couple caught my eye. There was some stereotypic statements about black people like why are we ugly or why do we have high tempers. I think thats wrong for judging a whole entire group of people with the same color. Come on people its the 21st century can we all finally see that were all different people. All black people arent the same, all white people arent the same, all asians arent the same etc. Can we Americans just put done our judge mental first impression glances and just look at each and one of our characters? Kmon were all human beings here, nobodys better than anybody else because of the color. Does anybody feel the same way out there?

I totally agree with you, in my opinion, judging other people came from our parents and they way we were brought up, also the area you may have been brought up. If we keep trying and as the older ones (that keep it going, die off) we may be able to change things. I believe that God created all men to be equal on this earth, but man himself decided he didn't like it that way and changed it. Have you ever noticed the children playing with each other? They don't see the color, they see a play mate. If you were to peel people like a banana, you would see we are all the same, flesh and blood and the blood is red and it does the same thing in all colors of people. It really disturbs me to see and know that there is still hatered in this country and world about how a person looks and or acts.

I was thinking just the other day what the world could accomplish if everyone worked together towards a single goal instead of working against each other trying to attain personal goals. I don't feel society will reach that level of maturity until after a nuclear winter.

It's fine and dandy to be all compassionate and politically correct about racial equality, but we all profile in our own individual ways. We all have different experiences which cause us to formulate our own impressions of different kinds of people. This may include , not only race, but other characteristics that show an impression of a type of person. You would be a very naive individual to just consider all people to be equally wonderful.

Completely agree with you! My family is about as racially diverse as one can be. I have Asian, Latino, white, and black family members, and I love each and every one of them the same. The only thing I can say is that racism is typically bred out of fear, ignorance, and arrogance.

I raised my kids in the Mississippi Delta region in E. Arkansas. I raised them to be 'colorblind'. Their father is racist. Guess who won? (Mom did) Humankind. Be BOTH!

In my years on this earth I've discovered that there will never be a shortage of stupid people. Try as might to educate them, but they are happy being stupid.
