He was a good man, husband and father. How can some of you people actually make fun of what happened to him ?
It's NOT funny, and a lot of us are tired of all the jokes being made of him.
A lot of famous people have died doing what they loved doing. Did anyone make fun of Sonny Bono when he died when he was skiing and ran into a tree? Or how about Christopher Reeves? Did anyone laugh about his horse riding accident?
I'm not saying that Sonny Bono died singing, or that Reeves died from playing his role in Superman, but they were all doing things they enjoyed doing.
Can't you try to put yourselves in Terry Irwins place for just a minute? Or how about their children? Don't you have any compassion what so ever?
Let the man rest in peace. !
There's NOTHING funny about ANY of the jokes. He died a horrible death, and even though it may not have been for very long, it must have been excruciating pain.

Well, actually, yes there were tons of jokes about those other things mentioned. I don't really like the jokes either but I noticed they didn't start till all the waa waa drama about the tragedy and the shock of it all and it aint that tragic and it aint a shock. It's a fricking miracle it didn't happen sooner, and a miracle it happened when his wife and kids weren't around cuz they were danger a plenty. I do have compassion for the wife and the kids but to think they didn't expect it could come at any time with him out harrassing wild animals every day is ludicrous. He knew he'd die in a similar fashion some day, and if he was as worried about his kids as everyone else is he'd not have been doing that.

I think we all need to shut up about it period. The jokes are tasteless; but the on and on and on sucks, too. There are sites devoted to it, this one doesn't need to be devoted to it. Maybe we could concern ourselves for a few moments with all the widows and kids without dads were doing necessary jobs when they died.

I am with you all the way on this one, I hope I go out doing something I enjoy, just as he did. but the only way to make the jokes stop would be to not give them the satisfaction of a response, a couple of answerless questions and hopefully they will go away.

I agree with Stinger21. Just ignore them. There will always be those people that enjoy others' misery.
