Whenever I've been in any kind of argument with anyone I don't want to "give them power" by "flattering" them with either of the "b words". Calling them either of those words kind of gives them "credit" for having a certain degree of power - like Cruella DeVille or Cinderella's step-mother or, in the case of the other "b word", the male equivalent.
There are other words you could use that would more imply they are powerless little pieces of nothing that aren't worth your time.
People who use the "b words" think they're the ones with the power, but they're actually giving a certain amount of power to the very person they want to insult. Some people actually take a little pride in being a b occasionally.
So in answer to your question - find a word that is more demeaning than either of the "b words". Because of the over-use of these words they've lost their power for sure.
If they threaten violence? Leave. Call the police. Get a restraining order. Any of the above, depending on how bad things are.

I don't feel like no one has the right to call anyone out of their name. I just was in a very abusive relationship with a man and he used to call me out of my name all the time. I never called him out of his name. When you care for someone or have a friend you should totally respect that person and for who and what they are. I think this is what is so wrong with relationship now adays is people try to change each other when they should be out there trying to find someone that they want to be around, the type of personality that best fits that person. Then maybe the world would be a better place to live. Life is Love, and vice versa. So about calling anyone out of there name is unheard of when you are supposed to be caring about a person. Then there would be no violence, anwser two.

I would say it is never ok to call anyone the "b" word if it is what I think it is... because it does not solve any problem.. I would say that the best thing to do if someone treatens you with violence is to report them... and to stay away from them.. Good Luck.. this problem is a tough one.. I know.. but now days it is not a good idea to fight with anyone.. the old days there would be a fight..then everyone would shake hands and go on with life.. now it is different.. one fight leads to another and worse and so on... likfe is too short to fight... :)

Sounds like alot of problems!
Never call names - it is NEVER necessary.
If you can't control it you will remain single, if you are not single you probably will be soon.
Work on your issues - which sound like many - first. Change yourself.

If it's decended into name calling, you need to back off and cool down before someone gets hurt.
And if they threaten to kick the crap out of you, LEAVE!!!
