Do any of you remember when the Exorcist first came out? My parents saw it and were so terrified we were forbidden to see it until we were like 16. I saw it at a friends house when I was 14 and I thought ok mom and dad what's up? Then Halloween came out. Never babysat for anyone on Halloween night. Now a days the movies are not that scary anymore. I'm still affraid of swimming in the ocean some 30 years after JAWS. But I would not loose any sleep over a movie like THE RING or The House OF WAX or whatever that movie was. What movie still gives you chills?

yes and like your folks mine too made the exorsist into something i just HAD to see, and then it was like....???? i admit though as i have gotten older roller coaster rides and scary movies freak me out a bit now and i use to love that stuff, but recently the movie that made me have chills was wrong turn, i just kept thinking yeah its possible and that made it all the more scary....

I agree--the original Exorcist was a classic. So was Psycho. I found Silence of the Lambs disturbing. Also disturbing were Wolf Creek and The Hostel. As for the House of Wax, I was laughing so hard at Paris Hilton's very bad acting (un)skills, that it was more of a comedy fest.

when i saw ' friday the 13th' i could nt sleep 4 a few nights. what made it worse, was a neighbor man across the street wore a hat just like freddies. then when i got older, i scared the s**t outta my lil sisters by saying that this WAS freddie. of course they ran & told mom on me. & 'salems lot' was a lil creepy 4 me, 2.

Sixth Sence and Signs still give me chills.
The alien walking by the camera gave me goosebumps for a week!

Texas Chainsaw Massacre....when that girl was walking around the side of the house and Leatherface came out of that little half-door and grabbed her, and when the door shut ,it was so quiet! That scared me bad!

you should not put yourself in whatever movie you watch, THAT'S BAD! it makes you SICK (Phsychologically).
