I know that feeling and I would recommend seeing a pyscologist and working through it with them. They can help you sort through what ever is causing you to be miserable how show you how to take control. I know when I was going through the same thing, it didnt matter if I was doing something exciting because when that was done I would feel the same way and friends only made me feel like they just didnt understand. You need to find long term ways of dealing with depression and I think a pyscologist will help you do that. Good Luck and Take Care.

Sounds like you have a case of low self esteem,
sometimes the smallest things can make a big difference,
try doing something that makes you feel good, weather it is going on a night out with friends or plan a trip to some place that you always wanted to see, it could be what ever you want , I hope this has been a help, cheer up.As my late brother would always say to me when I was down and feeling low, the sun will always come up tomorrow,just as sure as situations will change with time.

Yeah, about 2 years ago. I was completely internet addicted and spent all day and night online, chatting. I finally woke up and diconnected. I felt much better after I started forcing myself to live again. The old saying, "Life is what you make it." is cliche, but true. I finally reconnected recently and now I limit myself to a certain amount of time per day and so far it's worked out. I would try some new things in your life. Volunteer somewhere. Do what you know from experience makes you happy...or someone else. You'll be surprised how fast you'll start to feel better.

I recomend meditation!
and right down all the things about yourself, how much you earn, who your with, where you live, what you where, what your weight is, what time you wake up and go to bed, your personality, every detail to who and where you are.
then write a list to who and where you want to be.
compare the two lists and Take the steps to become who you want to be.
It works but you must do what is nessasary (steps) to acheive that goel.
eg; if you want money, read bools on rich folk and come up with an idea!
if you want more fitness, start with the basics, stretch the body a few weeks in advanced before exercising, and the key is consistancy and grow with it.
I get the same way then do this process and acheive goals and that makes me happy. hope this has helped!

You are probably depressed. Many will yell Doctor and Meds. But, my opinion differs. Try to find something to add some excitement to your life, and give you a goal to look forward to. Sometimes just going Camping and doing some night fishing helps me. Having a good positive minded friend help too. About all I know to say.

YES I think EVERYONE has at some time in there life..I pray .also have my grandchildren over. I just had my SEVENTH last night and i witnessed the most beautiful thing LIFE!I WAS MESMIRIZED.HONEY I CANT TELL YOU WHY YOUR UNHAPPY I DONT KNOW YOU.SEEK INSIDE YOUR SOUL AND ASK THE GOOD LORD TO HELP YOU THROUGH THIS.MY MOM SUFFERD LU GHRICS SHE WAS DEPRESSED THEY GAVE HER ZOLOFT SHE TOOK IT FOR AWHILE,BUT BRCAUSE SHE KNEW SHEWAS DIEING SHE STOPPEDBUT SHE FOUGHT TO THE VERY END SHE MADE MY SISTERS TAKE HER TO THE POTTY CHAIR(SHE DIDNT WANT TO LEAVE A MESS) SHE DIED THIS COURAGEOUS WOMEN OF 12 CHILDREN SO MANY PEOPLE GO THROUGH TRIALS I WILL BE PRAYING FOR YOU

Im soooo sick of people saying keep busy you will feel better they mustnt have not raised any children..you constantly on the go with kids plus volunteering is fun but when do we sit back and replenish!! our selves for once...if you are unhappy you proably need to go to church and talk to good people...then after you meet the guy or girl who just makes your hotter than hot have sex alot untill you cant even take it anymore....then you wont be depressed...sounds odd but sex cures depression...I feel

how long have you been unhappy? does it come and go? maybe you should see a doctor for depression. i have been miserable several times in my life...but i did know not know why.
this is not a nice way to feel....it is hard to get back, so get some help....
what is the one thing in your life that you like?
concentrate on that...

If you feel that way from time to time it's called "being human." But if you feel that way to such an extent that it impairs your ability to function, then it's called "depression" and needs treatment.
