If you're looking for something with the variable transmission, there are a few very small 'chopper' companies making automatic (snowmobile belt drive) bikes, but nothing as advanced as the DN-01.

I saw the DN-01 at a show last year. They said they will be developing it as a regular release, but didn't give a timeline.

The dealer show is where Honda usually releases its new products and information on anything coming in the near future - and that's happening as we speak (sept 6-7). So, if it's going to happen in '07, we'll know very soon.

The downside? We heard initially that Honda only planned release in Japan and Europe.
