Earthquakes give off sound. If you were up in the air when an earthquake hit, you would hear it (and thereby actually "feel" the vibrations in your ears anyway).

no,, not the quake itself,,,possibly a minor sensation of shock wave,,,,,they do cause alot of turbulance for lower flying aircraft during the actual quake
