The only thing that I can suggest is the power of intention and visualization. Imagine your son cleaned up, happy, grown up, stable - see him clearly in your mind. Then see yourself standing next to him, beaming with pride and peace of mind. Do this for 3-5 mins at a time 2 or 3 times a day at least. If you can clearly envision it, you will be sending the right message to the powers that be. Don't allow your thoughts to be negative about him. If you do have a negative thought about him, stop yourself and say "he is a good boy" or something equally positive.

It is hard enough to change, but harder still when those around us expect us to fail (even if that is because we have done so over and over again). Your positive opinion, thoughts and intentions for him will be very powerful and are really all that you can do for him.

Peace!

Your 40 year old son needs to grow up. He can't run from the cops forever. Eventually he is going to screw up somewhere and they're gonna get him. He can't and won't change until he decides to for himself.

ONCE A THUG...ALWAYS A THUG..i don't think you can do to much about it...if he hasn't changed by now ...he wont change at all.. but good luck and i hope he CAN change for his own good.
