Yeah i need to get from Vista to Fullerton by bus and/or train...any tips?

Use the Surfliner train -- Amtrack. Pick it up in Oceanside.

Take the bus from Escondido instead of downtown San Diego. It's a nicer area to be with more parking. Because it's farther north you don't have to pay quite as much and the trip won't take you quite as long. It probably will take you as long to drive to Escondido as it would to drive to downtown, anyway, so you're not really going farther, unless you live downtown.
Or try Craigslist.org and look for rideshares.
