The weirdest pet I've ever had was a single Brine Shrimp that came with a science kit when I was in grade 7. I loved that thing. Then I had a pet earth worm for 6 months, complete with four of five garden snails. I pulled them all out of the compost heap. Then I had a garden spider I called 'Legs'. I had him for a few weeks before I let him go outside.
Right now I have guinea pigs, guppies, rats, cats and five species of bird. The most bizarre out of them are the Japanese Quail. They're just like miniature chickens and the male's mating call sounds like a whip lash. He likes doing that at 4 am >.< . My green cheek conures are not one of the most popular parrots on the pet market but they certainly turn heads when I'm on the bus! I want a yellow sided Green cheek conure to breed. Might be a while before I can afford one!

I am not sure how unusual mine are but I have three betta fish, soon to have a few ghost shrimp, and I have about 50 plants in my indoor garden. I count my plants as pets because I have to water them, and change the water (for my "lucky bamboo"), and replant them every so often. So I guess I have around 55 pets and I am about to add ghost shrimp and neon tetras to the mix.
The sad thing is that all of my pets live in my room.

I had a corn snake which someone gave to me, but that's not that unusual. I had an ant farm when I was a child, and a wormery, until the worms made a run for it lol. Oh and my dad had a pet pheasant when i lived on the farm, he called it Howard, it was huge and would come running out of the bushes when he called for him to feed it.

Short-tailed Opossum.
Don't have one, but I've seen one before, and they are rare as pets, therefore unique. (They are about the size of a small rat).
