I think the comments, jokes etc.. are very distastful and disrespectful. Whoever is making these jokes is totally ignorant! How would these people feel if they had lost someone close?? a family memeber or best friend if had they passed away? Would they still be joking about it? Time comes in to everyones life when we have to except and deal with the loss of life of someone who we are close to, just please show some respect for others, especially in there time of grieving, even if you didnt know them. We are human beings that God brought into this world and eventually we return to when our time comes. R.I.P. Steve Irwin

I think you should understand some people show respect in different ways, Steve as a person would be the one creating the jokes, to make jokes about Steve is to really celebrate a life and I think its a healthy way to deal with the passing of a man that created so many smiles in homes all over the world.

I think different people deal with death differently and for some people maybe the joking is a way to make light of something that deep down frightens them. Than again maybe I'm giving them too much credit and they're just goofy jerks who don't have the respect that they should for someone who really seemed so vital and who seemed to enjoy life a great deal and brought a lot of pleasure to so many many people. Steve Irwin will be missed.

I haven't heard any jokes, but if there is, it is really bad taste.
He brought alot of enjoyment for many people, and to make jokes about his dead? I guess if people have nothing to do and got a blank head, what do you expect.

it's so awful. they can't let the guy be dead for even a day before people start insulting him!?! he was an awesome guy who brought entertainment to a lot of people. no reason to dishonor him immediately after his death

its wrong! i think he waz a brave man who waznt afriad of any thing and thats more than most people can say about them selves! making fun of a dead person is wrong too! it could happen to any one! no one will live forever and when they die im sure they wouldnt want anyone making fun of them!
