i really have no idea what to do with my ipod now since i lost my warranty and i dont know if they will accept my ipod without it. if any one has any advice on how i can get my i-pod fixed please let me know because i am an ipod freak and cannot live without it :'(

No worries. Best Buy has an electronic copy of all your purchases, including your warranty. So if you are within the warranty, you may be able to get it fixed. The only concern I have is that your warranty may not cover physical damage. I would go to a Best Buy store and find out. Good luck!

Keep pushing the company who produced the ipod until they give in. If you let them tell you that they can't do anything unless you have your warranty, don't give up. Call them so often that finally they will just replace the darn thing. This does work if you are constantly polite and very firm and just never stop. The guys made the product; now it doesn't work; one day, if you never leave them alone, they will bend a few 'rules' and give you another one.

call up best buy, they might have the warrenty on file
