I have found that there are basically 2 mind sets when it comes to questions. those who like it short. So they can quickly read it, answer it, and move on the the next because they only want to stack points. they do not care about getting the best answer. Others who want a longer question because they want as much ammo in creating an answer. Too long? Not long enough? I think it all depends on the question. But in short err on a longer question because you have to play as much as possible to those less bright. Also a short question can be very vague and garner many questions many missing the mark all together. I can put a vague question out there like "all musicians are lousy? What does that mean? Are they lousy performers, attitudes, about their finances, in bed? No one knows. Not enough info. I in turn love the detail part, but at times even it is not enough.
