I always wanted to go to Australia and meet him and his family, not to mention his whole crew. Steve opened a whole new world to me. He gave me an appreciation of animals that I had been utterly terrified of, & he showed me how beautiful they really are. I'll miss him terribly, but I'll continue to learn & grow because he showed me how to expand my own horizons and learn to appreciate what I didn't understand before.

Yes, I liked Steve Irwin, a person who genuinely loved the wildlife and devoted his life to it. I enjoyed his shows and learned much about crocs and other animals that I did not know. Loved his personality and enthusiam. Wished there were more Steve Irwins in the world.

I loved Steve Irwin! He will be missed tremendously! He was one of those people you never forget and even though you dont know them personally, it feels like you do. It really saddens me to think that he is gone forever. but he left us all great lessons and his name will never be forgotten.

Oh my...what happened to him...Crikey!
Seriously, he really was a great guy, who explored life to understand it, and who took it to the limits.
He also helped save and look after animals, donating time, love and money. Just that, alone, speaks about his wonderful nature. It was a shock to hear what happened, and he will be missed.

steve irwin was a rare jewel on this earth. ironically, i seperated from my husband on the day he died, and i was actually more upset hearing about his death. it was truly tragic. and made me realize how you should embrace life with passion and joy and not live afraid and unhappy. what a remarkable person. he will be missed.

I admired him for his outlook on life and the fact that he was not afraid of doing things to the max. Didn't know the man personally so can't truthfully say if I would have liked him or not.
