Women are just people, no biggie. They worry too, just like anyone. Everyone is freaked out at different levels, and you never know where another person is at. Just start chatting, saying hi, baby steps...eventually you will get there. If they are rude, that's their issue, not your's. Be polite, and be brief at first, build up to longer conversations as you feel comfortable doing so. By all means, don't let one, or two, or ten interactions defeat you. Though if you get to ten, or more, perhaps your approach isn't right, and repost a new question. ;) It's all a learning process, this life. Good luck! Be kind, and other kind people will find you. :)

They should mature and get the nerve to talk. if I am not interested I just say I am attached. or I just refer to her as a "friend". If she asks me I just tell her the truth.

dont be scared about talking to women. infact, we are more worried about what you think about us then what we think about you.
