Can any one tell me why its illegal not to like every single colour, nationality,race or religion?
I thought this was a free country!!!

Freedom of speech has nothing to do with who you like or dislike. No one can MAKE you LIKE this person or DISLIKE that one. Those are choices YOU make on your own, but verbal assault is just as illegal as physical assault. And it sure is a pity that you don't "feel" that you ARE free! Your freedom was bought and paid for by men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice ... men and women who you probably wouldn't care for if they were alive today. And THEY didn't care what color, nationality, or race you were or what your religion was. If you would LOVE people with the same passion that you seem to dislike them, you'd be a saint!

This is a free country but their is a line you don't cross if you don't like someone keep it to your self because it's that freedom of speech that makes this so hateful!!

Who said it was illegal? Some people are of the type that do not like other races of people, that does not make it law. In the US it is illegal to discriminate, there are also harsher penalties when crimes are defined as "hate crimes". I don't know where you are getting your facts but they are incorrect. You have the freedom to like or hate whoever you want.

You as an individual are free to like, or not like, whomever you choose, for whatever reason you choose. It is in the public arena, such as government, that such restrictions apply. Government is suppose to be color blind, as is justice, as is public education, etc., but you can be as bias as you wish. Of course, others may not wish to have anything to do with you if you exhibit such tendencies.

It is not illegal to dislike anyone! I do not like the Mexican who is here illegally and drives a car around that is not insured. I do not like the white man who hates his neighbor simply because he is black. I do not like the black man who spends much of his life in jail and deliberately tries to impregnate white women. I do not like the Jew who is dishonest in his business dealings. See what I mean???

I'm not sure what you are asking.
It *IS* legal to *LIKE* people of any rationality, race or religion.
You can like prisoners or aliens.
However, there may be restrictions on who you can marry
(say, by gender or age)
What specifically are you talking about?

You have the right to be a racist in most instances. It is possible that your employers may fire you or that you have others criticize you but you will not be arrested.
