wish you lived in okla. i have 3 royal empress trees and one of them has shoots coming upall the time. gave them to everyone i know so now i just cut them down. if you know anyone who has one maybe their tree does this.the other 2 trees dont do this.

try the Arbor Day Foundation, they have all kinds of trees and tell you what is best for your area. it is a lot cheaper if you become a member. the only bad thing is they only ship two times a year.
