Do you remember what happened nearly five years ago, an event where 2792 people were killed. Of course you do but what do we do to honor those who died on that day, the heros who perished while trying to save people that they didn't even know people they had never met before. Why are we again divided as a country after we were so unified in the weeks and months after the attacks, have we forgot what it was that unified us. No we have not, we just don't care about anymore, last year my school did nothing to remember those who died on September 11th, 2001. But this year I say we remember, I say we unite, and I believe in this country, I know that we can show the world we haven't forgotten and I will be standing on the roadside with the American flag held high for as long as it takes for others to join me, because I love this country and I would wait forever for everybody else to love it as much as I do. And I just wanted to ask the rest of you Americans out there; WHO'S WITH ME!!!!!!!!

Very unlikely I would remember UNLESS I was intimately involved in a horrendous event.. then I would probably remember EVERY detail until I die... so it depends on what the event is and how serious the event and what my (the individual's) particular feelings were about it

yes i do remember,i was born during the vietnam war and i honor them too.most people and media these days dont want to see or understand what sacrifices were made by the ones who laid there lives down voluntarily or in-voluntarily,its a world of an attention span of 5 seconds and then onto something else and unless its helping there personal agenda and greed they dont care.9/11 stopped their world, for a fraction of a second, but they seem to have forgotten why,and for what purpose.if and when any other attack upon the institutions of a free democratic society are unleashed they will once again cry out WHY? because they dont or wont remember....I'm with you!

Joey reposted my question and as the original poster I want to say thank you joey for siding with me and being a true American and I know that even though we are separated by many miles that on september 11th we and all those who raise theri flags proud, we will all be connected as one nation, and our actions will be bigger than us and will affect many.
