Yes she can. Using birth control AND a condom is a very, VERY good way of protecting yourself from geting pregnant. There are a lot of ways you can mess things up with the pill (i.e. forgetting to take it for a day, or taking very late in the day) that could mess up the cycle and cause you to get pregnant. Also the pill does not protect you from any STDs or AIDS. If you're concerned about getting pregnant you should definitely use a condom and the pill. Or there are some other choices of contraceptives (such as contraceptive gel or a diapragm).

Yes and all these people saying thier is only a chance during a certain period of time or if she is on antibiotics are posting false inforamtion.

You do not have to be on antibiotics and thier is no certain time, it can fail at any time.

Birth control is NEVER 100% effective when it comes to pregnancy and same also goes for condoms, they are just things to reduce the risk but do nto actually prevent it from happening.

My friend just got pregnant on BC and she is now having twins. The thing with getting pregnant on BC or coming right off it is thier is a high risk of multiples.

Yes, sometimes they can. There are various reasons for it, ranging from careless use of birth control to physical illness that day or uselessness of the drug on the person. Like, if she NEEDS a little extra estrogen and the pill gives it, it's not doing the birth control job for her completely. (Sounds far fetched, but not impossible.) LOTS of reasons why birth control could fail. So.... Good luck.

Yes, you know birth control is only 99.9% effective so without some other kind of protection with it could get you pregnant. As long as you don't miss any of your pills you should be pretty safe.

Technically yes. Birth control is not 100% effective, but it is one of the most effective methods around. In my opinion, if the woman is responsible enough to take the pill, the man should be responsible enough to use protection.

She can if she skips a pill or two. She also can if she is on certian antibiotics. My cousin took her Birth control pills every day and she got pregnant because the antibiotics counter acted the birth control pills, she even had her period untill she found out she was pregnant because she was still taking the pills.

Yes...but it depends on the time of the month. About two weeks in is when woman have what they call "cerval mucas." This is the worst time to have sex if you don't want to be pregnant. Why? cerval mucas keeps sperm alive until the egg arrives. About 3-5 days after the cerval mucas is when you are safe. So basically, before the mucas, and 3-5 days afterwards...you are safe. It's called the Natural Family Planning method.

Hope this helps
