Do you remember what happened nearly five years ago, an event where 2792 people were killed. Of course you do but what do we do to honor those who died on that day, the heros who perished while trying to save people that they didn't even know people they had never met before. Why are we again divided as a country after we were so unified in the weeks and months after the attacks, have we forgot what it was that unified us. No we have not, we just don't care about anymore, last year my school did nothing to remember those who died on September 11th, 2001. But this year I say we remember, I say we unite, and I believe in this country, I know that we can show the world we haven't forgotten and I will be standing on the roadside with the American flag held high for as long as it takes for others to join me, because I love this country and I would wait forever for everybody else to love it as much as I do. And I just wanted to ask the rest of you Americans out there; WHO'S WITH ME!!!!!!!!

I whole heartedly agree with you honey. Not only do I remember, but it haunts me on a daily basis. I have friends/family fighting in this war. I have not been able to forget or move past the devastation our country has suffered. This past weekend my husband and I went to see the 9/11 movie that was just realeased and I cried all the way through it. The amount of human compassion was breath taking and for any of us to forget that would be a tragedy. We are one nation, we are in a sense...family and we all do need to re-unite as a whole.
My prayers are with you on your quest to achieve that....don't give up!

I'm with you, GOD BLESS AMERICA. I'll be on the side of the road with my American flag and all my friends will probably be joining me.
