I was thinking of getting one of those 20" Intel Imacs and I was thinking, can I upgrade things other than the ram?

Yes you can upgrade the ram, Hard Drive, and even the processor if u feel the need. So please don't listen to the windows users they have no idea what they are talking about.

Yes, you can get them upgraded. You have to have it done by an Apple tech though. They are not like the older ones that you can just pop apart and plug new ram into. Check on Macworld.com or pick up one of there magazines for more info.

Hi there...certainly. Aside from upgrading the memory, you could upgrade the hard drive capacity and possible rumoured the CPU as well.
