My absolute favorite holiday is Easter ...it means rebirth, spring a fresh start. Easter is a symbol for me that things start over and can regrow or get better. It means summer is coming and the doom and gloom feelings of depression will leave!! It is a time for spring cleaning and new things!! I know I sound nutty but I really do love the Easter Holiday and I celebrate it kinda like Christmas. I decorate and buy my family a few presents usually new clothes and sandals things they will need for summer. I cook a great big meal and dessert and invite everybody I can squeeze into my apartment!!I hope my family and my children (now grown into teenagers and an adult) will always celebrate Easter with me ....what a sad thought that now they are grown it won't be important to them.

well...in my country (INDONESIA) the longest holiday would be mosleem new year aka IDUL FITRI. I don't celebrate it, but I do love that day cause I can get a week or more for holiday. And my favorit getaway would be anywhere far away from my country. Cause at that time no one sale food. They all having holiday in their hometown.

Probably Christmas Eve, as all things are still possible and magic is in the air, and it doesn't matter that it is partly the decorations or a nostalgic flirting belief in Santa, and the music, and the movies, and the cookies...All that I have planned is ready for those I have prepared things for...I need nothing, I am content.

It would have to be Thanksgiving Day. Watching the Macy's parade, having a incredible meal and giving thanks for all that we take advantage of everyday in this country. Watching a football game and spending the day with the people we love.
