(10 points if you help me not have my connection go dormant. In the settings of my wireless mobile connection manager i don't see an option to set the amount of time before my connection goes dormant).

Well first of all you cant idle out of YIM, Games yes after 40 min. Sounds to me like your on a laptop and didnt change your power management settings. Check that first. Go to Start, Control Panel, Power Management. Make sure it says to stay ON.... Now Gimmie my 10 points lmao

I have three PC in different locations throughout the house. All three have different signal strength.
Obviously, the PC to which cable is connected has the best. One PC, the farthest from the cable, usually shows "low strength." Sometimes when I walk away for a while, it will be disconnected when I return. Fortunately, WindowXP has a "repair" button and sets it right.
