I, myself was also born in mid 60's. You love Disco music because... Disco music was the biggest hits during your teen years and that makes you love those music, especially when you hear it this days.

because the music is AWESOME!!!! I was born in the 70's and I LOVE disco!!!!! Gimme the Bee Gee's, Blondie, Donna Summer and Gloria Gaynor anyday. Don't forget ABBA too!
