when u use subtraction, u change the subtraction sign into an addition sign, and the second number into the opposite of what is is.....so it would be -3+-2....and since two negatives equal a even bigger negative.....the answer is -5

-3-2 is -5. Think of it as (-3)+(-2), if that helps!
