Wander the strip and see the sights, the crowds, and get a feel for it. You can have alcohol on the street so be sure to grab one (or a dozen) of the foot long drinks they sell. As far as the clubs, here is a list of some good ones and the hotel they're at.

Rain at The Palms
Ghostbar at The Palms
Jet at The Mirage
Body English at The Hard Rock
Risque at Paris
Studio 54 at MGM
Rum Jungle at Mandalay Bay
Pure at Caesars Palace

If you want to find out more about each place go to this website. Gives all kinds of info about dress, drinks, music and reviews. Super informative! http://las-vegas.nightclubs.com

I was just in Vegas. The club at the Wynn, Tryst is awesome, but expensive. There are TONS of clubs, look on Yahoo travel to see which ones are recommended. We hung out by the pool at our hotel a lot. Also, it is fun just to visit the different casinos and walk the strip. There are tons of shows, the Cirque shows such as O and Zumanity are supposed to be awesome or you might see if any good bands are in town and see a live music show. We saw a show at the House of Blues in LV once. We visited Freemont Street which was kind of cool, but it was a $15-20 cab ride each way and we probably only spent an hour there. I think there are some roller coaster rides at the New York and there are tours that go to the Grand Cayon, Hoover Dam, etc. Oh yeah, there is a lot of shopping. Hope this helps.

Lots of places in Vegas....Pools are great there... If you stay at
the Hard Rock, you might see some celebs. They have lots of
hot dance clubs in the casinos.... Studio 54 in MGM... Coyote Ugly in NYNY. Great restaurants all around. The Ethel M chocolate
factory tour. The M&M candy store where you can buy just about
any color of M&M you want. The Coke Musuem. The Liberace
Museum. The Classic Car Collection at Imperial Palace.
Just about any type of show you want.... Name brand singing groups, people, etc. About half a dozen Cirque shows.
Check out all the free shows the casinos put on... The Treasure Island has the sirens show. Bellagio has the fountains. Caesers Palace has the Roman show. Mirage has the Volcano.
Who needs to gamble with all that going on???

OMG. What is there to do in Vegas? EVERYTHING!!

If you're into rock music, Empire Ballroom on the strip, across from the Monte Carlo, behind Walgreens is fantastic. The Beauty Bar, which is Downtown on Freemont Street also has live music. It's a fun, kitschy place. My friend does nails there on Thursday nights, so go see her for polish changes and hand massages. =) Rockstar Karaoke at House of Blues in Mandalay Bay is a BLAST too. (It's on Mondays & Tuesdays)

If you're more into dancing - RumJungle in Mandalay Bay is okay. Kind of a pick-up joint though. I liked Studio 54 in MGM Grand and Coyote Ugly in NYNY. I hear Pure is HOT. (I think it's at Ceasars) Rain at the Palms and Ghostbar at the Palms are also fun.

CLUB PURE in Caesars Palace is one of the biggest and best clubs in town. If your going clubbing in Vegas get there before 10pm (9pm for Pure). All of the good clubs will have HUGE lines before you know it. Ra is my least favorite. Avoid it at all costs. There are after hour clubs in Vegas. They stay open till dawn. Drais in the Barbary Coast is one of the more popular ones.

Definitely do a buffet. You can't go to Vegas without going to at least one. Mirage has a great one.

Since your going with your girlfriend, the best thing to do during the day is hit the pool. Its a great place to socialize with a lot of people and find out where everyone is going when the sun goes down. My favorite pool is at the Palms because there are very few families with kids and it gives it a more party atmosphere.

At that age group check out the Palms. They have Rain and the Ghost Bar, the latter is on the roof and is just awesome. I've heard good things about the night club at the Wynn. Tangerine at TI sucks.

If you want to hit some designer shops try the ones at Caesars.

There is a ton of things to do in Vegas - other than the strip. I recommend renting a couple of Sea-doo's and jetting across Lake Mead. It truly is AWESOME.

Another option is to take the hard-hat tour at the Hoover damn - very impressive.
