My daughter-in-law is making a memory album for their triplets who were born on October 5, 2003. I'd like to know if there were any books published in 2003 that were instant classics, best sellers, award winning, etc.

Go to New York Times in Book Review of 2003 of the children section to find the best seller books. maybe the Los Angeles Times has it as well.

All you have to do is go to the library to pull the history from a fiche.
Ask a librarian to assist you.

This website might be of some help in many ways. It is a "Time Capsule" maker where you type in a date and they walk you through what big events were going on, what was popular, etc. And you pick and choose what to include on a printout page.
