That is simply because love did not happen. Being sexy does not mean that you will get lots of dates.
Remember this: Love in its pure form can exist in all conditions and has no limits or boundaries.

If they call you hot, it would mean that you are only best to be oogled at and talked about, and that's about all there is to it. To ask you out, a guy would want a girl that is COOL! Otherwise you would get a hot guy... you know the word, horny! Sorry. Be COOL and you'll get a date in no time...

Maybe you should ask them yourself. If you want to live in a society with equal rights between the sexes, it's important that you stop seeing things in terms of "What the boy should be doing, & what the girl should be doing."

If you are a teenager and strikingly beautiful, this may happen. It is because these boys are intimidated and don't feel good enough. They may be more comfortable with more ordinarily cute, average girls. My best friend in high school was one of those knock-them-dead beautiful girls, and smart as well...she ended up dating a guy in his twenties, a situation that no parent today would tolerate, because the high school boys were scared to death of her. I don't recommend dating older guys. You may simply have to wait until these boys gain enough maturity and self-assurance to approach you.

why does it have to be so manipulative? Just ask them out.
a good looking guy has a success rate of about 25% if he asks women that look about as good as him.
a good looking woman is going to get about an 80% success rate asking guys out simply because NO OTHER WOMEN ARE COMPETING WITH HER ON THAT LEVEL!!!!
it should make sense, really.
