The Silence of the Lambs (1991)
On-screen chemistry hasn't been this electrifying since Bogart and Bacall, and Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins never even make physical contact. The intensity never lets up in this brilliant psychological thriller that swept the 1991 Oscars. FBI agent Foster interviews vicious murderer Hopkins, hoping he will help the bureau catch another serial killer who's preying on young women. The interrogations turn personal as Hopkins, a psychiatrist, turns the tables and makes Foster his vulnerable subject.

You know the Exorcist is the best
Silent Hill had great effects, but lacked a real plot
The Hills Have Eyes could have been better
I heard The Descent is good
The Exorcism of Emily Rose creeped me out
The Saw 1 and 2 were pretty good
Amityville Horror the remake was cool

There aren't that many scary movies anymore, just sick ones, like Hostel and Saw.
But you have to consider the older ones; they're the best!
Evil Dead one and two were scary, as well as Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the original, or Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

It would have to be The 1986 remake of The Fly. Jeff Goldbum's transformation into the Fly grossed me out. I haven't seen that film ever since.

I have seen alot of horror movies in my time so I started to become immune and start to predict what's going to happen until I saw Switchblade Romance the only modern horror movie that scared the crap out of me.
