...Steve Irwin's untimely and tragic death? The kind of shock, love
and support Irwin's death has generated is unparalled and beyond Princess Di's death. His genuine passion struck a chord with everyone. Which other contemporary human would generate such kind of love globally if they were to die? I can think of Michael Jackson who, probably has fewer fans in the USA but has millions of loyal fans worldwide. Maybe Angelina Jolie because of her recent humanitarian causes. It has to be combination of wellknown person and their genuine contribution that won hearts.

Who else do you think is capable of generating such love all over the world?

I really liked Steve Irwin. He was a good showman and seemed to stick up for wildlife, although he did kinda mess with wildlife to make money and fame. He was famous for agitating wildlife until it would attack him. Again to make him famous and rich.

Does it surprise me to see that he died at the whim of a wild animal. Absolutely not! Most all people loved him as well as me. But he was always flirting with death and usually at the stress of an animal.

My heart goes out for those young children he left behind. I'm glad it wasn't one of them that got killed. Because he did put them at danger at times> Like the time he flaunted his1 yr old child next to meat he was feeding a crock... I didn't think that was cool at all.

He was an amazing man.... Very brave and very likable but a little too crazy to think he would live forever. I'll miss him and his shows. Thank you Australia for this interesting and brave man. I think he did do a lot for the well being of animals.

Um... Bill Clinton, maybe, if the death was a weird, tragic accident, and not, say, a heart attack brought on by too many big macs... Sure, a lot of people would be glad to see him go, but you even get that with Steve Irwin, and those who loved Clinton, loved him, and even many who didn't are a bit nostalgic about his presidency now

When you look at Steve Irwin, what you see is what you get. There's no airs about him, no sleazy gossip and no media circus, unlike singers and actors. Here's a man who really has passion and optimism and honesty about him. So, it's really tragic cos it's unexpected. Which other celeb brings their family, friends and colleague into their show?

Who else? That's is really a tough question.

rather some it rather is HOW he died. Had it been in a automobile twist of fate, it does not have been as sensational. His death became in simple terms so...staggering. He died doing what he enjoyed, and it became this form of strange thank you to bypass.
