The songs will then appeal to a larger demographic. If you like classic rock and/or rap, then you might be more inclined to listen to the music. The artists who compose these songs first need to pay whoever owns the copyright of the classic rock songs so they can legally use the songs and market it. I, for one, am not a fan of rap music, but am a huge classic rock fan. I've heard a few of these combo songs, and they're not all that bad. It's not that the rap artists don't have talent, they're just experimenting with their art, and are making a small fortune doing it.

Because they know that rap songs are pretty simple and need a real catch tune or talent to backbone the song. If you listen to music from the 50s and 60s; you will find that those decades were rich with talent and musical ideas. Get a best of the 60s CD and listen to either rock, soul, or just muzak. Rap has a place too. not to bag on it. But it's full of anger and violence. Kind of out of balance for what music's purpose should be.

To those I say, go to school and become a professional instead...too many peeps wanting the easy way out of becoming popular to get an easy mil here or there. Reggaeton is turning the same way...

Because they can't come up with any real talent of thier own, so they try to fill the void in thier pathetic souls by tearing down any REAL music they can find, wiping thier asses with it & calling it "Old School".

"Offensive Rip-off" is more like it!
