First of all, marketing is not simply about how to promote it, you need to create a service that a certain segment will appreciate. If you are going forward with a copy cat strategy, then do not expect an overwhelming success. Differentiate your service by specializing in a certain segment. For example;
- Luxury travel
- Exotic destinations
Once you have an edge, you need to come up with a positioning for the service that needs to be plugged into everything that has your company name; ads, brochures, web site etc. People must appreciate and understand what you stand for as a company.
Is it a startup or an established one?
If a startup you need to allocate a certain percentage for the publicity. A decent percentage would be 7-10% of total capital.
Define your consumer;
Gender, age, income bracket, location etc
Once you are done, you need to investigate the best and most efficient media to reach your target. Could be the web, radio, print etc.
You also need to decide if you going into the B2B segment or not. By that I mean servicing the travel needs of companies. If so then, that is a different game all together. You need to have competitive rates, prepare presentations and be active on the sales level.
You have tons of stuff to do, at this stage you did not provide enough details in your question to provide you with the skeleton of the marketing plan, but the above mentioned points should take you in the right direction.
Good luck
